Current status. A review of the public Website configuration on 23 July 2026 did not identify any confirmed first-party browser cookie, analytics cookie, advertising cookie or social-media tracking tag. The Website currently loads limited external resources described in section 5.
This Cookie Policy explains how ETHICAA TRADING LLP (“ETHICAA”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses, or may use, cookies and similar technologies on the corporate website on which this policy is published (the “Website”). It should be read with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
This policy records the Website configuration known to us when it was published. Website technologies can change, and a browser, hosting provider or security service may behave differently because of configuration, updates or infrastructure. We will review and update this policy when a material change affects the technologies described here.
1. Scope
This policy applies to cookies and similar technologies used when a person visits or interacts with the Website. It does not govern information voluntarily entered in the contact form or sent by email, which is covered by the Privacy Policy.
A reference in this policy to a technology being available or potentially used does not itself authorise its use. The actual Website configuration, the notice presented to the visitor and any choice recorded through a consent tool will determine which non-essential technologies may operate.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website or service stores on a visitor’s browser or device. Cookies may contain or generate an identifier and may be used during one browser session or retained for a defined period.
Websites may also use technologies that perform related functions without being conventional cookies, such as local storage, pixels, tags, software development kits, device identifiers or scripts that send technical information to a service provider. In this policy, references to “cookies” include similar technologies where the context permits.
Cookies may be placed by the operator of the website being visited (“first-party cookies”) or by an external provider whose service or content is used on that website (“third-party cookies”).
3. Current Website configuration
Based on a review of the publicly available Website page, scripts, stylesheets, frames and embedded resources on 23 July 2026:
- no confirmed first-party browser cookie was identified;
- no Google Analytics or other browser-based analytics tag was identified;
- no Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag or other advertising or retargeting tag was identified;
- no embedded social-media widget, video player, map or third-party iframe was identified;
- the LinkedIn and Instagram features are ordinary outbound links rather than embedded trackers; and
- Google Fonts and a Bootstrap Icons stylesheet served through jsDelivr are loaded as external resources.
This is a point-in-time description, not a guarantee that the Website will never use a cookie. Hosting, security, load-balancing or content-delivery infrastructure may introduce a strictly necessary technology, and future Website features may require a revised inventory and, where applicable, consent.
4. Cookie categories
If cookies are introduced, they will be classified according to their actual purpose. The principal categories are:
Strictly necessary cookies. These support a function required for the Website to operate or for a visitor-requested service, such as security, load distribution, fraud prevention or recording a privacy choice. They are used only where reasonably necessary and are not used for advertising.
Functional cookies. These remember a visitor’s optional settings or provide an enhanced feature. No functional cookie is currently confirmed on the public Website.
Analytics cookies. These measure visits, traffic sources or use of pages and features. No analytics cookie or browser-based analytics tag is currently confirmed on the public Website.
Advertising cookies. These may be used to build an advertising audience, measure advertising or recognise a visitor across services. ETHICAA does not currently use confirmed advertising or retargeting cookies on the public Website.
5. External resources currently loaded
The Website currently requests certain visual resources from external providers. A request to an external server ordinarily discloses technical data needed to deliver the resource, such as the IP address, requested resource, browser or device information and HTTP headers.
Google Fonts. The Website loads typefaces through the Google Fonts Web API from Google-controlled domains. Google states that this API is unauthenticated and does not set or log cookies, but that font requests include the visitor’s IP address, requested URL and HTTP headers such as user-agent and referrer information. Google states that information collected by Google Fonts is not used to create end-user profiles or for targeted advertising.
jsDelivr. The Website loads the Bootstrap Icons stylesheet through the jsDelivr content-delivery network. The browser therefore makes a request to jsDelivr’s infrastructure and supplies technical request information needed to return that resource. We do not use that request to recognise visitors or create advertising profiles.
These external resource requests are disclosed for transparency even though they are not currently identified as cookies used by ETHICAA. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy documentation. ETHICAA may replace, remove or locally host such resources.
6. Cookie inventory and duration
As at 23 July 2026, ETHICAA has no confirmed non-essential cookie to list by name, provider or duration for the public Website.
Before a non-essential cookie is enabled, we will, where required, update the Website notice or consent settings to identify its category, provider, purpose and duration with reasonable specificity. Session cookies ordinarily expire when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies remain until their stated expiry or until deleted, subject to the visitor’s browser settings.
7. Consent and visitor choices
The Website does not presently display a cookie-consent banner because no confirmed non-essential cookie or tracking tag is active on the reviewed public page. A banner that offers choices without any underlying non-essential technology would not improve visitor control.
If we introduce a non-essential cookie or similar technology for which consent is required, we will seek an appropriate affirmative choice before activating it. We will not treat silence, inactivity or a pre-selected option as consent where a clear affirmative action is required. Refusing a non-essential cookie will not prevent access to general corporate information, although an optional feature may not operate as intended.
Where consent is used, visitors will be able to withdraw or revise it through the method stated in the consent interface. Withdrawal will apply prospectively and will not make earlier lawful processing unlawful. Strictly necessary technologies may continue where required for security, legal compliance, a visitor-requested service or recording the visitor’s choice.
8. Browser controls
Most browsers allow visitors to view, block or delete cookies through privacy or site settings. Settings vary by browser and device, and visitors should use the current instructions supplied by their browser provider. Blocking all cookies can affect features that depend on security, preferences or session state.
Some browsers or extensions transmit signals such as Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Because the Website does not currently use confirmed advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, such signals should not materially change the reviewed Website experience. We will respond to a legally recognised signal as required by applicable law.
9. Future analytics or advertising technology
ETHICAA may later consider an analytics service to understand aggregated Website use or a marketing technology to measure a campaign. Before enabling such technology, we will assess its purpose, data flows, provider, retention, settings and legal requirements.
Where required, the technology will remain disabled until the visitor has made the relevant choice. We will update this policy and any consent interface before or when the material change takes effect. Installation of Google Search Console solely for website ownership, indexing and search-performance administration does not by itself mean that a visitor-facing analytics cookie has been enabled.
10. Social-media and other third-party links
The Website links to ETHICAA pages on LinkedIn and Instagram. The current links do not embed those platforms in the Website. When a visitor clicks a link, the visitor leaves the Website and the external platform may use its own cookies or account information under its own terms and privacy practices.
ETHICAA does not control a third party’s cookies on that party’s website or application. Visitors should review the third party’s current privacy and cookie information before using its service.
11. Technical information that is not a cookie
The absence of a browser cookie does not mean that no technical information is processed. When a browser requests a webpage or resource, the receiving server may process IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, user-agent, response status and security information in ordinary server or content-delivery logs.
That processing is described in the Privacy Policy and is not converted into cookie-based tracking merely because it occurs during a Website visit. We use or permit technical logs for delivery, diagnostics, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance and protection of rights, subject to applicable law.
12. Applicable privacy framework
Where cookie or similar-technology data identifies or is capable of being related to an individual, it will be handled in accordance with applicable Indian data-protection and information-technology law. This policy is intended to operate consistently with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 as their relevant provisions come into force and apply.
Nothing in this policy limits a right or obligation that cannot lawfully be limited. If a separate consent notice or preference interface gives more specific information about a particular technology, that specific information will govern the relevant choice.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect a change in Website technology, provider, legal requirement or business practice. The revised policy will be posted on the Website and will apply prospectively.
If a change requires consent, posting a revised policy will not replace the consent process. We will use an appropriate notice or consent mechanism before activating the relevant non-essential technology where required.
